Frequently Asked Questions
What instruments can my child take lessons on?
We currently offer private lessons in trumpet and violin with more instruments and vocal music coming in the Fall 2026. If you are unsure which instrument is the right fit for your child, we are happy to help you decide during your trial lesson.
What age can my child start music lessons?
We welcome students starting in First Grade. Private lessons allow us to meet each child exactly where they are, so younger beginners and more advanced students are both well-served.
What will my child learn in music lessons?
Students learn proper technique, tone production, how to read music, basic music theory, and how to play songs they enjoy. Our instructors blend structured fundamentals with music that keeps students engaged and motivated to keep going.
How long are lessons?
Lessons are 30 / 45 / 60 minutes depending on the student's age and level. Your instructor will help you determine the right lesson length for your child.
